Post Size
There are many different vinyl post sizes on the market. ActiveYards vinyl fences come standard with a larger, stronger, and more attractive vinyl fence post than most other brands. Additionally, certain styles of ActiveYards vinyl fences use different size posts. Our fence experts can help you understand your options and the benefits of each.

Picket and Board Spacing
Different ActiveYards vinyl fence styles have different picket or board spacing requirements. Semi-privacy vinyl fence styles have pickets and boards with spaces between them to create privacy without fully enclosing your yard. Typically, styles with larger picket or board sizes have larger picket and board space guidelines to create an even and balanced-looking fence.

Dig and Set
Dig and set is a method of vinyl fence installation and specifically refers to the traditional method of digging holes, pouring concrete, and setting the posts. While this is the method used by nearly every fencing company, there are new and improved techniques that may be available for this style of fencing.

Driven Post
Many styles of fencing can be installed by driving the posts into the ground. This method of setting fence posts is superior to the traditional method of digging holes and pouring concrete. Typically, the driven posts are strong metal posts that are driven up to 50% deeper than a standard fence post. As the post is driven into the ground, the dirt around the post is compacted and compressed, creating a stronger and faster fence installation. Additionally, no holes are dug, resulting in a cleaner fence installation.

Color Special Order
Mr. Fence is happy to offer a wide variety of special order colors, styles, and sizes. We are committed to helping you create the "perfect" fence for your situation and for your personal style preferences. Special order fences can take many weeks to arrive from the manufacturer or distributor. We often tell our customers across Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky to expect special order fences to arrive in a minimum of 6 weeks.

Rails
Vinyl fence rails support the fence panels and are available in different styles. Different styles of vinyl fencing will have different rail decorations.

StaySquare
The StaySquare patented gate design with internal gate pockets provides structural integrity that decreases any sagging or bending of your vinyl gate over the years.

StayStraight
StayStraight is a unique material composition within vinyl fence rails that provides structural durability, helping to decrease bending or sagging over time.

GlideLock
GlideLock is a patented connecting system that locks vinyl infill boards tightly together to create a panel without any gaps.

Decorative Type
The vinyl lattice top adds an inviting openness to the fence design while ensuring lasting durability and easy care. It simultaneously allows light and a subtle breeze to filter through, softening the boundary without compromising privacy.
